Week16: Something End – So what’s next?

Wow! And that’s it for 16weeks (you got to be kidding me), its so freaking fast! It definitely feels like I just got scolded yesterday for not studying….HAHAHA. To be honest, working in AESTE is really fun, you will never find a company where you can sleep when you don’t feel like working at the same time there will be a ghost (imagination) lurking around calling out to you, to better get your shit done before someone comes and check your work. Besides that, you never find a company where you get free lunch for your first day and last day; A company that brings you to watch Movie! woots~ And the most awesome of them all is the flexibility of working hours and attire! You can also learn a lot when talking to the boss/supervisor (Dr. Shawn).

Dr. Shawn is practically an imba person. Cause he is just too good in a lot of things. So there are a few things to do when one would like to talk to him. The below is a programming pseudo-code:
1) If you are an intern, then he will be your worst nightmare
2) If you are a friend, then it is really fun having lunch and chit chatting with him
3) If you are a genius, then you will feel like you have finally found a worthy opponent or friend
4) If you are an enemy (politician and stupid people), then you can enjoy his rage in twitter and personal blog
5) If you are a business man, then you better show/prove that you are good
6) If you are his lover, then I really wonder what are you thinking…
7) If you are God, then you would be wondering what chemicals/compositions was done to make this guy
8) Else you just don’t give a fuck and do your own thing
*imba means imbalance, it comes from gaming term stating something that is virtually broken; overpowered, where the developer of the game should fix or rebalance this character, item, game.

So…. yeah that’s basically how it is, and some more tips for interns, please don’t ask question, no matter how hard or confuse you are, just do not ask until you have put enough effort into finding the answer for the question that you are struggling. I have already experience my own portion of his scolding and after these 16weeks with Dr. Shawn or in AESTE, I learn and experience a lot of things but one of the most important thing that I realized is that; talents are like gift/blessing but effort will never betray you!

Looking forward to the future of AESTE, hope it will grow into something remarkable! And help nurture more interns/students to be a better person/engineer. For my story with AESTE will be coming to a Something End.
