This week quietly marked the final chapter of my internship, and it still feels a little unreal writing that sentence. The days were spent polishing and refining the Sayembara website for its final review, making sure the content flows well, the structure feels intuitive, and the visuals clearly tell the story of how Sayembara supports a competition from start to finish.
After weeks of sketching ideas, experimenting, fixing mistakes, and learning along the way, it finally felt like everything was coming together.
Polishing the Systems Page
A large part of the week went into improving the Systems page. The challenge was finding the right balance between clarity and simplicity, explaining how the platform works without drowning readers in technical details.
Each system was rewritten with short, focused explanations and clear key points. Visual concepts and mockups were also planned carefully so they support the message instead of distracting from it. It took a few rounds of tweaking, but watching the page slowly become clearer and more polished was genuinely satisfying.
Shaping a Welcoming Contact Page
The Contact page also received a little extra love. Since it’s a static page, the goal was to keep it friendly, straightforward, and easy to navigate.
Clear wording, direct contact options, and thoughtful call-to-action buttons were added so visitors know exactly where to go and what to do, without any guesswork.
The Little Details That Matter
Some time was spent reviewing the entire website to make sure everything feels consistent — headings, buttons, tone of writing, and navigation flow.
These small details might seem easy to overlook, but they’re often what make a website feel polished and comfortable to use.
Reflections & Insights
- Finishing a project takes just as much care as starting one.
- Clear communication always matters more than fancy wording.
- Looking at a product from the user’s point of view changes how decisions are made.
A Small Thank You
Since this is my last week of internship, it feels important to pause and say thank you.
From supporting live events to building features, improving user experience, and designing a website from scratch, every experience brought new lessons and challenges. The guidance, patience, and encouragement throughout this journey made learning feel safe, meaningful, and motivating.
It’s a little bittersweet closing this chapter, sad to leave the routine, but grateful for everything learned and excited for what comes next.
What’s Next
While this internship officially comes to an end, the curiosity and lessons gained definitely don’t. This experience has shaped how problems are approached, how users are considered, and how learning is valued.
Thank you for an unforgettable journey.
